Parenting your Internationally Adopted Child Most Classes are approved by the South Carolina Department of Social Services for Continuing Education credits for South Carolina's Licensed Certified Investigators who provide Homestudy Services. Taught by the Author of Adopting a Daughter from China, this class is combines basic childcare info with the unique needs of first time parents adopting from China: preparing the nursery, child development, packing for your trip, travel to China, early days together, pre and post-adoption resources, and more. Meets Hague educational requirements: 2.5 Credit Hours

Includes basic childcare information while addressing the unique need of adopted children from
Includes basic childcare information while addressing the core issues of internationally adopted children. Topics include children in orphanages, child development, medical considerations, early days together, post adoption support, resources, and more. Meets Hague educational standards and 2.5 Credit Hours/certificates are available for Adoptive Parents and Certified Investigators.

Create a Class: we can design a class to meet your specific agencies requirements or select a current class. The class fee is determined by the class selected and length of time. Mileage Fees and overnight accommodations are in addition to the class fee for most evening and early morning classes that require travel the night before. Mileage is calculated at .50 per mile, for any travel over a 60-mile radius.
