4 Factors of Adoption: Age, Ethnicity, Medical Considerations and Cost. For Prospective Adoptive Families who are considering domestic or international adoption, an in depth discusion of the primary and secondary factors of adoption, how they apply to both the adoptive parent and child, and how each can effect the decision making process. Secondary factors includes travel, adoptable children, child selection process, program requirements, control, time frame, career and childcare. What Country to adopt from? How to compare programs, red flags, and risk factors.
Adopting a Toddler: What Size Shoe Does She Wear?: Preparing for the arrival of your toddler or older infant. Includes basic childcare information while addressing the unique need of adopted children, adoption travel, post adoption, and more.

Beginners Journey to Adoption For families who are considering domestic or international adoption. Learn about different types of adoption. How the primary factors and secondary factors of adoption can effect the decision making proces: which child can you parent, age as a factor, trans-racial adoption, medical considerations, how to compare programs, and red flags. 2.5 Credit Hours/certificates are available for Adoptive Parents and Certified Investigators.
Includes basic childcare information while addressing the core issues of internationally adopted children. Topics include children in orphanages, child development, medical considerations, early days together, post adoption support, resources, and more. Meets Hague educational standards and 2.5 Credit Hours/certificates are available for Adoptive Parents and Certified Investigators.
Create a Class: we can design a class to meet your specific agencies requirements or select a current class. The class fee is determined by the class selected and length of time. Mileage Fees and overnight accommodations are in addition to the class fee for most evening and early morning classes that require travel the night before. Mileage is calculated at .50 per mile, for any travel over a 60-mile radius.
